Arnold & Son has added a new limited edition version to the Globetrotter model family, which has been acclaimed for its traditional interpretation of the world time complication. This new version, which is the flagship model of the product group, is produced from a platinum alloy.
Globetrotter, which was introduced in 2018 and gained acclaim for its stylish and eye-catching display style, which brought the world time feature, one of the practical complications of the watch world, is again on the agenda with a new limited edition version.
Taking part in Horobox's first limited edition project with its original design, Globetrotter again draws attention with its new model made of platinum alloy.
The case of the new model, designed with a diameter of 45mm and a height of 17.23mm, is made of platinum alloy. The elegant case, all with glossy surfaces, is home to sapphire crystal glasses on the front and back. Accompanied by the elegant crown with the Arnold & Son emblem, the case is resistant to 30 meters of water pressure.
The dial, which is the most distinctive feature of the model family, draws attention with its design that blends the world time complication with visual arts. Besides the rhodium-plated white gold hands and indices, the three-dimensional figure adorning the dial is also covered with Super-LumiNOVA phosphor material, so the dial retains its admirable appearance even in dark environments.
The new model is powered by the Caliber A&S6022, as in the other models of the product line. The automatic movement, designed and produced by Arnold & Son, contributes to the eye-catching aesthetics of the model with its NAC-coated components. All decorative elements of the movement, which can offer a power reserve time of up to 45 hours when fully wound, can be watched with pleasure thanks to the sapphire crystal display case back.
The model, which is limited to only 28 pieces, comes on a hand-stitched blue alligator strap. The stylish model, which is fixed with a folding clasp made of platinum and titanium materials, is offered for sale at a list price of 64,900 CHF.
