Swiss manufacturer Audemars Piguet has added three new versions to the Royal Oak Offshore model family, one of the undisputed leaders in the luxury sports chronograph category.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore collection, which is one of the most successful combinations of sports and luxury since its introduction in 1993, is back with updated design details and cutting-edge technology production methods. The watches offered with ceramic cases and striking colors attract attention with their bold presence.
The models came up with black ceramic cases measuring 44mm x 14.4mm. 18K rose gold details and blue or green ceramic material according to the version accompany the new models. The models are equipped with sapphire crystals on both sides and are water-resistant to 100 meters. The Mega-Tapisserie pattern on the dial, which has become one of the signature designs of the brand, appears in its latest form. The Tri-Compax chronograph layout and the magnifier on the date window are also reflections of the familiar ROO genes in the new models.
At the heart of the watches is the automatic Caliber 3126/3840, which we know from other ROO models. The 29.92mm x 7.16mm, chronograph featured movement beats at 21600vph has 59 jewels and offers 50 hours power reserve. The movement is not only at the level of craftsmanship but is also very successful in fineness thanks to the chronograph module produced by Dubois-Depraz.
All three models come with textured rubber straps and titanium buckles.
Audemars Piguet and Royal Oak Offshore collection have a different position among sports watches with its bold image and high watchmaking production methods. I wish that the same models were also available in smaller diameters with more graceful details.
