Bell & Ross is dazzling with its new model added to the BR-X5 collection. Even in the dark!
The young brand's adventure with models centered on the lume feature became clear with the LUM Series it introduced in 2013. Continuing its work on this subject, Bell & Ross chose the BR-X5 product group, which quickly became one of the brand's most successful collections, for its latest lume-themed model.
The new model comes with the unique BR-X5 case, designed with a diameter of 41mm and a height of 12.8mm. The middle part of the modular case is made of Grade 2 titanium alloy with a micro-sandblasted surface. Green luminescent fiberglass composite (LM3D) is used for the components on the front and back of the black DLC-coated middle part. The sporty case, complete with a screw-down crown and a blackened sapphire crystal case back, is water resistant up to 100 meters.
Sharing the BR-X5 design elements, the matte black dial offers a dazzling shine with an extra Super-LumiNova effect. The skeletonized hands, applique indexes, and bezels around the power reserve indicator and date are completely coated with Super-LumiNova. The 3-day power reserve indicator is located at 9 o'clock, while the date window at 3 o'clock shows three digits at a time (the middle digit is the date). A 60-minute scale surrounds the outer flange, which has numeric indices every 10 minutes and a green marker.
BR-CAL 323 produced by Kenissi powers up the new model. The COSC-certified automatic movement operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers 70 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
The model, limited to 500 pieces, comes with a black perforated rubber strap and DLC-coated steel folding clasp.
