Renault Sport Formula One ™ Team official partner Bell & Ross crowned the re-opening of the France Grand Prix last weekend with a new model. Bell & Ross BR V2-94 R.S.18 celebrating the addition of France to the Formula 1® race calendar, one of the most important organizations in the motor sports world, draws attention with its unique details referring to this significant occasion.
The new model is offered in a Vintage Collection style case measuring 41 in diameter. Stainless steel case is equipped with a domed glare proof and scratch resistant sapphire crystal and a fixed bezel with an aluminum Tachymeter insert on the front side. The rear side of the case is covered by a scratch resistant sapphire crystal case back featuring a metallic illustration of the Renault race car and the individual serial number. The case is water resistant to 100 meters / 10 bars and equipped with a set of screw lock chronograph pushers as and winding crown.
Bell & Ross Vintage BR V2-94 R.S.18 comes with a dial made of carbon fiber from the volatile materials of motor sports. The Bi-Compax chronograph dial features Arabic numeral hour markers and a set of baton style hands. Accompanied by accents in red and Renault Sport Formula One Team’s official yellow tone accents, the dial also hosts as date display window between 4 and 5 o’clock.
The new model is powered by the Caliber BR-CAL.301 movement. Based on the well-known ETA 2894-2, the self-winding Bi-Compax chronograph movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound. The movement is enjoyed through the sapphire crystal display case back.
Bell & Ross Vintage BR V2-94 R.S.18 can be preferred with a three-piece stainless steel bracelet (BRV294-RS18 / SST) or a black calf leather strap (BRV294-RS18 / SCA) with carbon pattern and contrasting yellow stitches. The model is limited to a total of 999 pieces only and available at EUR 4,900 (leather strap ) and EUR 5,200 (metal bracelet).
