Blancpain, from the milestones of luxury watchmaking, introduced a new version of its iconic dive watch Fifty Fathoms. The new model attracts attention with its full brushed titanium case and black dial.
5015 is not a brand new reference within the legendary Fifty Fathoms model family. But the matt finished titanium case and the black dial is new and they both highlight the series’ tool watch character nicely.
The new model comes in a lightweight titanium case with full matt finish measuring 45mm in diameter and 15.4mm in height. Equipped with scratch resistant sapphire crystals on both sides and the signature sapphire insert uni-directional diver’s bezel, the case is water resistant to 300 meters / 30 bars like a proper professional dive watch should be.
The dial of the new model is also arranged according to the classic Fifty Fathoms style. Accompanied with triangle and large Arabic numeral applique indexes and sword shape hands, the dial is designed in sector style with two different surface forms. All accents are Super LumiNOVA phosphor material applied for optimal legibility under darker conditions. Date display window is located between 4 and 5 o’clock while the center second hand’s tip is finished in bright red.
Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Automatique 5015 Titanium is powered by the manufacture Caliber 1315. 35 jewels self-winding movement measures 30.60mm x 5.65mm, beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a whopping power reserve of 120 hours / 5 days thanks to its three-barrels coupled in series.
The new model comes with two different strap alternatives as sail cloth (Ref. 5015 -12B30-52A) and NATO (Ref. 5015 -12B30-NABA). The straps are secured with Blancpain signed standard pin buckles.
The list price for the model is CHF 14,700.
