Blancpain introduced a new version of its signature Villeret Quantième Complet model family which features a second time zone display for the first time.

The Triple Calendar complication, considered one of the symbolic characteristics of the Blancpain product group, continued to be offered in different styles since 1980s to the day, but never had the second time zone feature. Prior to the upcoming Baselworld 2018, Blancpain launched a new version of its iconic model family which seems to be the “most complete” calendar ever with newly added GMT function.

The model comes in a modestly designed case measuring 40mm x 11.8mm. The case is offered in two versions as 18K pink gold and stainless steel. Both are equipped with scratch resistant sapphire crystals on both sides and they are water resistant to 30 meters. The cases are accompanied with black alligator straps or matching metal bracelets.

GMT function is displayed by a center second hour hand and a 24h chapter ring. The moon phase disc, which stands out with the face figure, is located at 6 o’clock while the characteristic day and month displays are placed side by side at 12 o’clock.

The date feature is displayed by a blued serpentine hand and a pointer style date ring.

The new model is powered by the Caliber 67AC which is based on Frederic Piguet Caliber 1151. 28 jewels self-winding movement offers 72 hours (3 days) power reserve when fully wound.
