Trust me; it is not fair to interpret this watch solely from photos. You have to touch it, feel it. You have to feel that weight on your wrist and be fascinated by every detail. Bovet Virtuoso V is a very bold-looking watch. This approach is evident in every field, from the materials to the design, from the features to the feel. I want to start with the details of the Amadeo system used in the watch case. The Virtuoso V comes in a 43.5mm x 15.7mm case made of 18K rose gold. There are slightly curved sapphire crystals on both sides of the watch and dials that allow the model to turn into two different identities. The model is water-resistant to 30 meters.
On the front side, there is a green-colored Guilloché pattern dial with a jumping-hour hand in the center and a retrograde minute hand above it. At the back, there is a second dial with an asymmetrical layout featuring a set of traditionally built hour and minute hands, as well as the movement's balance spring, small seconds, and remaining power reserve indicator. The winding crown of the watch is at the top. The model ticks with the manufacture hand-wound movement Caliber 13BM11AIHSMR. 41jewels movement beats at a frequency of 3Hz (21.600vph) and offers a power reserve of 5 days.
Now let's come to the most charming part of the watch. When you press the blue sapphires on both sides of the crescent-shaped crown guard, which surrounds the crown and also attaches the strap to the case, the whole crown guard turns 180 degrees. To flip the leather strap on the other part, you pull the bezel around the rear dial by its lever and release the lock that keeps the lug integrated into the case. After reversing the strap, all you need to do is press the bezel into place. The result: two faces in one watch.
If you think these are not enough for you, you get a pocket watch with a chain by detaching the strap from the case at the bottom and attaching the chain made of gold-plated silver to the upper part of the box. If you say that's still not enough for you, finally you can turn the Virtuoso V into a table clock by keeping the bezel ring open, which allows the strap at 6 o'clock to be removed.
