Breitling, one of the cult names of aviation-themed models, is expanding its iconic Navitimer B01 Chronograph model family with a new model designed and produced exclusively for the US market.
The newly added model to the collection comes with a bold case designed with a diameter of 46mm and a height of 13.9mm. The sporty case, which successfully carries the professional instrument character of the model family to the wrists, brings together stainless steel and 18K pink gold (only on the bezel) materials for the first time in the collection. The case, featuring sapphire crystals on both sides, offers resistance to water pressure only up to 30 meters.
The new model hosts an anthracite dial that fits perfectly with the combination of steel and 18K rose gold material. Rose gold hands and indices on the Tri-Compax chronograph dial, display the time. The red details on the minute scale inside the sliding bezel and the central seconds hand add a balanced movement to the classic dial.
The stylish model takes its power from the Breitling Manufacture 01 movement. As the name suggests, the automatic movement, designed and produced by Breitling, also includes a chronograph feature in addition to timekeeping and date functions. The movement, which draws a user-friendly profile with its 70-hour power reserve time when fully wound, impresses with its tasteful decoration, which can be viewed through the sapphire crystal display case back.
The black alligator strap and Breitling signature folding clasp complete the model. The model, limited to 300 units and available only in boutiques in the USA, retails for 11,900 USD.
