With its stylish Superocean Automatic 36 (White) model, designed with a white theme, Breitling targets women who like to experience the enthusiasm of summer closer to the shore.
Let's face it, we, men, are rather hesitant to choose a watch with a white dial, white bezel insert, and a pure white strap. When we look around, it is not possible to come across such a dominant white-themed men's watch at all (except for my white G-Shock watch, of course).
However, when it comes to women's watches, we can more or less guess how beautiful the same configuration can be. So, how about taking it directly to reality instead of limiting it to guesswork? Introducing the Breitling Superocean Automatic 36 (White).
Breitling Superocean is actually a very masculine model family. The Superocean Steelfish X Plus model, which I used for a while, was a sufficient model to summarize this on its own. However, this masculinity leaves its place to a very feminine look when matched with a slightly smaller case and a pure white theme.
The Breitling Superocean Automatic 36 (White) comes in a case with a diameter of 36mm and a height of 11.2mm. The front of the sporty case sports a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating and a diving bezel with a white ceramic insert. Equipped with a screw-in case back and crown, the case is waterproof up to 200 meters. So, there is no hesitation about being involved with water.
Another detail emphasizing the white concept of the model welcomes us in the dial section. The dial, screaming summer with its pure white background color as well as cream-toned Super-LumiNOVA filled indexes and hands, does not compromise on legibility. The dial, which softens the monochrome color palette a little with its red-tipped second hand, hosts a date display located at 3 o'clock. Equipped with a white(!) date disk, of course.
The stylish model ticks with the Breitling Caliber 17 movement. The automatic caliber offers 38 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
The snow-white theme is complemented by a rubber strap with the Breitling logo in the same color. The model, which is fixed to the wrist with a Breitling signed steel buckle, is available at 3,600 CHF.
