The variant we have here is the Bulgari Octo Velocissimo. Sporting the unique touch of Gerald Genta in almost every single detail, the model offers an un-matched wrist presence with its octagonal case and impeccable craftsmanship.
The faceted case is designed with a 41mm diameter which is considered to be the optimal men’s watch size for today’s trends. The stainless steel case is DLC (Diamond like Carbon) coated. The 18K rose gold bezel is accompanied with the rose gold hands and indices on the black lacquer finish dial. The case is water resistant up to 100 meters which is more than enough for the average user.
The harmony of the black and rose gold is nicely transferred to the dial as well. The rose gold hands and indices create a strong but stylish contrast. The 3-6-9 layout chronograph dial houses a date display window between 4 and 5 o’clock positions.
Bulgari Octo Velocissimo Ref.102488 is powered with the automatic chronograph Caliber BVL-328. The movement beats at 5Hz and offers a power reserve of 50h when fully wound. Besides its technical assets Caliber BVL-328 offers a full decoration with traditional watchmaking classics like Cotes de Genève patters, perlage and chamfering.
The model is presented on a super comfortable black rubber strap. The matching strap is secured with a DLC coated stainless steel pin type buckle.
