Cartier brought back its iconic Pasha de Cartier model line-up, which was debuted in 1985 and had great success in the 1980s and 1990s.
The new Pasha model is among the product groups that have been silent for a long time. The model, which has become memorable with its characteristic details such as its round case, unique lug connection, and winding crown with a cap and chain, dazzles with its updated model that is true to its DNA.
The new model family is offered in two different case sizes, 41mm and 35mm. The 35mm models, which use the common design language as the strap/bracelet selection, material, and dial colors, do not have a date window.
The model we opted for review comes in a stainless-steel case measuring 41mm in diameter and 9.95mm in height. The case, with sapphire crystals on the front and back, refers to the previous versions of the model with its plain bezel, capped crown, and unique lug design. The elegant case is resistant to water pressure up to 100 meters.
The dial of the model is finished in a silvery tone. The dial, which also includes the square frame detail specific to the model's family, is accompanied by large Arabic indexes and blue hands placed on a Guilloché background. The date window is located at 4:30.
The new Pasha de Cartier model family is brought to life by the manufacture Caliber 1847 MC. The caliber, which is the brand's entry-level automatic movement, operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers up to 40 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
Pasha de Cartier 2020 models come with the user-friendly strap replacement system (QuickSwitch) compatible leather strap and metal bracelet options. The model here comes on a black alligator leather strap and a classic Cartier folding clasp that defies the years with its design.
