The CASIO G-Shock Collection, which is among the cult model families of the watch world, has a new model that will meet with watch lovers within the organization of WatchTime New York, which is planned to be held in October.
In the event planned to be held in Manhattan Gotham Hall - New York, the new model, which attracts attention with its high-quality materials which are used as high-tech features, will be presented to the likes of watch enthusiasts.
Debuted at the CoutureTime event in Las Vegas in June, the new model is connects your smartphone through the use of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) feature for better accuracy and the support of a network. Through the G-SHOCK Connected application, the user can control the functions like automatic time setting and world time to over 300 different cities.
Besides the high-tech features of the model, the materials used in the parts such as the case and the bezel are also remarkable. CASIO G-Shock G-Steel Chrono Solar Carbon Edition (Ref.GSTB100XA-1A) comes in a 53.8mm case made of stainless steel. The bezel on the front side is made of carbon. The crystal on the model is also preferred as scratch-resistant sapphire.
The model has a water resistance value of 200 meters / 20 bar and features like LED lighting, Neo-Brite phosphor hands, multiple alarms, chronograph and countdown timer. The list price for the model is US$600.
