Chopard added a new model to the Mille Miglia Collection, which is dedicated to the brand’s official timekeeper status for the famous endurance race.
Chopard has been the official timekeeper of the famous Mille Miglia car race for over 30 years. This collaboration, which is considered to be one of the longest-running brand partnerships in both sectors, was once again crowned with a new model added to Chopard’s collection with the same name.
The new model comes in stainless steel case measuring 44mm in diameter and 14.63mm in height. The case is equipped with a steering wheel motif winding crown as well as a sapphire crystal and an aluminum insert tachymeter bezel on the front side. The solid stainless steel case back is adorned with an embossed Mille Miglia logo. The model is water resistant to 100 meters / 10 bars.
Chopard Mille Miglia 2019 Race Edition features a snailed grey with contrasting snailed black sub dials dial. Offered in Tri-Compax lay out, the dial features the date display window and the Mille Miglia logo in red at 3 o’clock.
The new model is powered by a COSC certified automatic chronograph. 25-jewel movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800vph) and offers 48 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
Chopard Mille Miglia 2019 Race Edition comes on a perforated, Cognac-colored calf leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching and rubber lining featuring Dunlop 1960s tire-tread motif. The strap is secured by a polished stainless steel folding clasp. Price: CHF 7,170 limited to 1,000 pieces only.
