Chopard, a giant name in the world of jewelry and luxury watches, introduced the new Chopard Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Grigio Speciale model which is exclusively designed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the brand partnership with Mille Miglia.
Chopard celebrates the 30th anniversary of the brand partnership with the legendary race Mille Miglia this year. The race, which is closely followed by the whole world of motor sports especially the classical car enthusiasts, is represented by a special collection designed for its own in the Chopard product line since 1988.
The new model is offered in a Grado 2 titanium case with shot-blasted finishing measuring 43mm in diameter and 11.43mm in height. The case is equipped with an anti-reflective coating scratch resistant sapphire crystal on the front side surrounded by a titanium bezel featuring an aluminum insert. The smoked sapphire crystal case back is fixed with 8 miniature screws. The case is water resistant to 100 meters.
The new models stippled anthracite grey ruthenium dial offers many details inspired by motor sports and Mille Miglia. The dial is adorned with matte black hour-markers and Arabic numerals treated with Super-LumiNova and accompanied with black facetted hours and minutes hands. The date display is located at 3 o’clock and surrounded by the classic Mille Miglia logo finished in Rosso Corsa (racing red) while the power reserve indicator placed vertically between 2 and 4 o’clock is inspired by the fuel gauge of the classic racing cars.
Chopard Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Grigio Speciale is powered by the Chopard manufacture movement Caliber Ref. 01.08-C. 40 jewels self-winding movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a 60-hour power reserve when fully wound. 251-piece movement is COSC certified and decorated with Cotes de Genève patterns as well as a Chopard signed perforated oscillating rotor that are visible through the smoked sapphire crystal case back.
The new model is offered on a textile strap made of Cordura, a fabric that is widely used in racing suits due to its resistance to high temperatures and wear. The strap is secured with a Chopard signed folding clasp made of shot-blasted titanium like the case.
Chopard Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Grigio Speciale is limited to a span of 1000 units only with a MSRP of EUR 7,560.
