Citizen Tsuyosa New Models

Citizen is expanding its Tsuyosa Automatic collection, one of the most popular model families of recent times, with four new references.

Known especially for its successful models in terms of price/performance, Citizen attracted great attention with the Tsuyosa collection it introduced last year. The model family, which made a nice entry into the integrated bracelet sports watch segment, whose popularity is growing rapidly in the industry, with its retro-classic design as well as its affordable price, also managed to become one of the most talked about novelties in the world of watches in a short time.

As the Horobox team, we brought you the model family, which won our appreciation, with the video we published on HoroboxTV, and we received valuable feedback about the collection.

Citizen, which did not remain indifferent to the intense interest in the collection, seems to have managed to excite watch enthusiasts once again with the four new Tsuyosa Automatic models it has recently introduced. The new models, which preserve the basic features of the concept in the same way, nod to the 80s with a fully pink gold plated model as well as vibrant dial tones.

The new models come with a stainless steel case designed with a diameter of 40mm and a height of 11.7mm. For the first time in the model family, there is also a fully rose gold-plated version of the case (and bracelet). The front of the sporty case features scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with a lens on it. At the back, there is a stainless steel cover with a mineral glass partition. The winding crown, which is a little weak in terms of usability, is located at the 4 o'clock position of the WR50M case, as in previous versions.

The dials, which are the main distinguishing feature of the new models added to the collection, are decorated with vibrant tones reminiscent of both the 70s and the 80s. Continuing the basic dial design of the model family, the new models host gradient sun-brushed teal, grained gradient blue, and sun-brushed light Tiffany blue in stainless steel versions. The rose gold-plated version, which is a candidate to be the most striking member of the collection, comes with a gradient red dial with gold-plated accents. The date window, located at 3 o'clock, takes its place in new models as well.

New models come to life with the brand's tested and approved movement, Caliber 8210. The automatic movement, which has been produced by Citizen for many years, operates at a frequency of 3Hz (21.600vph) and offers a power reserve time of up to 40 hours when fully wound. The caliber, which makes itself felt on the wrist with its characteristic rotor spin, can be viewed through the crystal display case back.

All models are secured to the wrist with an integrated three-piece bracelet and a Citizen-signed folding clasp. The bracelet, which impresses with its construction quality, also does an excellent job in terms of comfort.
