Audemars Piguet has added a total of 10 new references to the Code 11.59 collection, with new gradient dials and two-tone cases.
The Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet collection, which was introduced last year and met the watch enthusiasts, either loved or hated, is going through its first big change with the newly added two-tone cases and gradient dial versions.
Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet automatic chronographs and three-hand models have been presented with white, black, and dark blue dials to date. While these elegant and timeless colors are classics for luxury watchmaking, I would like to say that the new colors look very nice too.
Audemars Piguet is more creative, bolder, and more contemporary in design touches by remaining true to the original models introduced in 2020. The 10 new references, where each color is used in both chronograph and three-hand models, draw attention with their gradient dials.
We can say that the crucial aspect of Code 11.59 models is their complex cases filled with perfectly applied details and facets. One of these features is the middle case part, which refers to the iconic octagonal form that we are familiar with from the Royal Oak collection. This part provides a perfect background for contrast in material and colors.
The brand, which prepared a two-tone, skeletonized Tourbillon movement model for Only Watch 2019, evaluated the good comments and came up with the two-tone option for both chronograph and three-hand models. 18K white gold is used in the bezel, lugs, case back, crown, and pushers of these models while the mid-case is made of 18K pink gold.
All models are available with 41mm diameter cases that are complemented by straps that match the dial colors. Three-hand models beat with the automatic Caliber 4302 while the chronograph models are powered by the automatic Caliber 4401. Both movements provide 70 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
