De Bethune, one of the cult names of exotic models, added a new version to the DBD Digitale model family, which stands out with its unique display style.
Founded in 2002, De Bethune is a brand that has managed to become one of the favorite names of watch enthusiasts who enjoy extraordinary models with its new perspective on luxury watchmaking. De Bethune, which rose in a short time with the support of Denis Flageollet, one of the genius names of the watch world, took its place among the names that introduced its innovations to watch lovers within the scope of Dubai Watch Week 2023.
The model that the young brand presented to watch lovers within the scope of DWW 2023 was DBD Evergreen. The original model, of which we saw the red dial version this year, was appreciated with its green dial version.
The new model comes with a characteristic case designed with a diameter of 42.6mm and a height of 9.4mm. The interesting case, made of polished Grade 5 titanium alloy, has conical lugs called ogivale at 6 o'clock, and a winding crown surrounded by a metal piece attached to the strap at 12 o'clock. There are recessed buttons on the edge of the case, which has sapphire crystals on both sides.
The model is accompanied by a green dial with a stripe pattern unique to De Bethune. In addition to the De Bethune logo, three cap jewels also appear on the dial, where all time and time-related displays are displayed in digital format.
De Bethune DBD Evergreen comes to life with Caliber DB2044, the brand's own design and production. The micro-mechanical wonder hand-wound caliber operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a power reserve of 120 hours/5 days when fully wound. The caliber, which can be viewed through the sapphire crystal display case back, offers high-level technological and decorative details such as a triple pare-chute shock absorber system, silicone escapement wheel, chamfered and polished silver plate cover, "Côtes De Bethune" patterned barrel bridge and hand-snailed barrels.
The model, which is limited to only 20 pieces and offered for sale with a list price of CHF 105,000, comes with a beige textile strap and black alligator leather strap options. There is a standard buckle made of Grade 5 titanium alloy at the ends of both straps.
