The young brand, which has strengthened its place among entry and mid-level Swiss brands, is especially known for its models that bring mechanical watchmaking under the same roof with accessible luxury. The young brand, which created the latest edition of our limited-edition watches as Horobox, with the Highlife Automatic 39mm COSC model, is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. The new model that crowns this special date is added to the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture collection, the flagship model family of the Frederique Constant product group.

The new model technically has the same features as previous Classic Tourbillon Manufacture references. The 39mm diameter and 10.99mm high case, which we have seen in 18K gold and steel versions before, is produced from Grado 950 platinum alloy exclusive to this model. The modular architecture case, with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the front and a metal cover with a sapphire crystal glass section on the back, is resistant to up to 30M water pressure.

Another unique feature of the new model, which stands out after the case material, meets us in the dial section. The dial, a component where the watch industry rarely uses exotic materials, is made of gray meteorite material exclusive to this model. The base, produced from a thin piece taken from the Gibeon Meteor, is accompanied by diamond-cut applique indices and hand-polished Dauphine-style hands. There is also a small second hand on the bridge that holds the one-minute Tourbillon escapement located at 6 o'clock.

The new model is powered by the Caliber FC-980 movement, which is designed and produced entirely within the brand. The 33-jewel automatic movement, which was also used in the previous models of the same series, oscillates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and can offer a power reserve of up to 38 hours when fully wound. The movement, which not only keeps time but also features a one-minute tourbillon and small seconds, also impresses with its decoration that surpasses both Frederique Constant standards and many other calibers sharing the same price segment.

The new model, which is limited to only 35 pieces, comes with a black alligator leather strap. The list price for the model is EUR 42,995.
