The young brand, known for its models with the highest price/performance ratio, managed to make a name for itself in the industry with the Slimline Perpetual Calendar introduced in 2016. Slimline Perpetual Calendar, which redefines the price/performance parameter with a sticker price of under 10,000 EUR, is The Naked Watchmaker, an Internet organization founded in 2022 by British watch manufacturer Peter Speake and Daniela Marin (the people behind the Speake-Marin brand in 2002-2012). In collaboration with, it offered an unexpected update to this model. The stylish model, which brings a new perspective to the perforated concept, returned to us this year with a limited production version.

The new model comes with a stainless steel case designed with a diameter of 42mm and a height of 11.3mm. The onion-shaped winding crown completes the slim case, which has a convex sapphire crystal on the front and a sapphire crystal display cover on the back. The water resistance of the elegant case, which consists entirely of glossy surfaces, is 30M.

The skeletonized dial in dark gray and black tones provides the appearance of the movement decorated with blue screws and gold gears. The day and date subdials at 3 and 9 o'clock are significantly larger than those on the original Slimline Perpetual Calendar model, improving both readability and overall stability. While the month indicator positioned at 12 o'clock maintains its clarity, the leap year indicator is a small circular opening between JA and MR and turns red every four years, offering this detail to its user.

Although the sword-shaped hands are no longer phosphor-filled, they can clearly show the time thanks to the white lacquer coating. The calendar hands add liveliness to the dial with their red tips, while the month is displayed with a distinctive triangle. At 6 o'clock, there is a moon phase disk that appears to be incomplete.

The new model is powered by the Caliber FC-755 movement. In the automatic movement, which can offer a power reserve of up to 38 hours when fully wound, the bridges on the dial come with a gray coating that contrasts with the steel and gold components visible from the open dial. The same gray finish continues on the opposite side of the watch. The movement is accompanied by hand-applied perlage, Geneva stripes, blue screws, a skeletonized rotor, and engravings detailing the collaboration with Peter Speake and the limited edition.
