GP, which started its brand partnership with Aston Martin last year, greets watch lovers and motorsports enthusiasts with the third model of this collaboration. The new model, which uses carbon components taken from two Aston Martin F1 vehicles actively participating in the races in the 2021 season, is limited to only 306 units. The selection of the 306 as production number nods to the 306 kilometers of the upcoming Silverstone Grand Prix.

Produced on the Laureato Absolute Chronograph platform of the brand's sporty luxury chronograph product line, the model comes with a 44mm diameter and 15.15mm high case. There are sapphire crystals on both sides of the stylish case. The sporty case is made of an ultra-light alloy obtained by treating titanium powder and carbon parts from the two F1 cars with a special resin. The cases, which draw attention with their camouflage-like texture, are waterproof up to 100 meters.

The new model hosts a Tri-Compax chronograph dial on a green background with lime yellow components identified with the AMF1. The cross lines on the floor refer to the emblem of the brand in 1921. While the skeleton hands emphasize the cooling channels in Aston Martin cars, the detail at the bottom of the central seconds hand is also inspired by the side accents used on some Aston Martin models.

The in-house Caliber GP03300 gives life to the stylish model. The automatic chronograph movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800vph) and offers up to 46 hours of power reserve when fully wound.

The unique strap that fixes the model to the wrist is produced from a mixture of carbon elements taken from F1 cars and FKM rubber, that is, fluorocarbon rubber. More expensive than neoprene and rubber elastomers, FKM rubber provides greater resistance to heat and chemicals. Marking a first in the watchmaking industry, the high-tech composition of the strap offers greater flexibility and durability compared to traditional rubber straps. The black PVD titanium folding clasp that accompanies the strap promises a comfortable use with the micro-adjustment system to lengthen or narrow the strap.
