Laureato Absolute Gold Fever, the latest addition to Girard-Perregaux's Laureato Absolute line, combines the bold character of the concept with a handy chronograph complication and luxurious touches of rose gold.
Designed with a diameter of 44mm and a height of 14.65mm, the case is produced from Grade 5 titanium alloy with black PVD coating. The sporty case, which is a perfect combination of round and straight lines, has a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the front, and a Laureato Absolute logo case back, which is fixed to the case with 6 miniature screws. The stylish case also draws attention to the fact that it is resistant to an important water pressure rating of 300 meters.
The dial, in which 18K rose gold components are added on a black background, highlights the sporty character of the model. Wide hands and baton indexes offer sufficient legibility, while the large GP logo and contrast chronograph counters emphasize the bold presence of the model.
Caliber GP03300-1058, designed and produced in-house, beats inside the elegant model. The automatic Tri-Compax chronograph movement consists of 419 parts in total. The movement, which operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph), offers a power reserve of 46 hours when fully wound.
Limited to only 188 pieces, the model comes on a unique strap made of black FKM rubber and fabric-effect gold components. The stylish strap is secured to the wrist by a GP signed folding clasp made of black PVD-coated titanium.
The list price for the model is CHF 14,390.
