Girard-Perregaux is crowning its brand partnership with the famous British automaker Aston Martin with a new limited edition model.
Bringing the two brands together for the second time, the new model comes with the up-to-date Laureato Chronograph style case with a diameter of 42mm and a height of 11.90mm. The sporty case is made of 904L quality stainless steel, an alloy named after Rolex, instead of the 316L that has become almost a standard in the industry. The stylish case, sporting a screw-in crown as well as a pair of screw-in chronograph pushers, also fulfills the water resistance suitable for daily use requirement, which is one of the defining details of the Sport-Chic segment, with its water resistance value of 100 meters. Sapphire crystals serve on both the front and back of the iconic case, where matt and glossy surfaces are used in harmony with each other. On the sapphire crystal in the middle of the metal case back, there is the Aston Martin logo, which refers to the brand partnership theme of the model.
The elegant dial, designed in Tri-Compax chronograph layout, hosts a British Racing Green colored background with a cross-hatch motif. This exclusive green tone, which is of great importance for Aston Martin as the other British car brands, is complemented by phosphor-filled hands and indices that glow green in low-light environments. The elegant dial has a date window at the 4:30 position.
The stylish model takes its power from the in-house designed and produced Caliber GP03300 movement. The refined caliber, which stands out with its modular-architecture automatic chronograph feature, offers a power reserve time of up to 46 hours when fully wound.
A stylish yet sporty integrated bracelet, another indispensable part of the Sport-Chic segment, completes the model. The comfortable bracelet, which draws attention with its H-shaped thick link design, is made of 904L quality stainless steel, just like the case. At the end of the bracelet, a folding clasp with the GP logo serves.
The model, which is available through GP authorized sales points around the globe, is limited to only 188 units. The list price for the model is CHF 17,300.
