Glashütte Original, the German origin member of the Swatch Group, added a new dial color for the Glashütte Original, Sixties and Sixties Panorama Date models. The models, which were offered with vibrant green dials, are now introduced with fiery orange ones.
Glashütte Original is one of the leading German brands in the world of luxury watchmaking with its classic designs, high complications and the panoramic date displays that are identified with the brand. The well-known brand, introduced the Sixties Collection with green dials, which has been highly appreciated and talked about. Under the brand’s main product line Vintage, the model family is once again in front of the watch enthusiasts with a stunning new color tone, which is as impressive as the last year’s.
New versions, which technically share the same platform with the other models available in the Sixties Collection, are equipped with gradient dials finished in orange which looks like an exploding fireball with their grainy surface. New versions, which have the typical characteristics of the model family, such as stylized indexes, hands with curled tips like the domed sapphire crystal, and a date disc with black background, seem to be leaving their mark on this year as well.
Both models come in fully polished stainless steel cases. The cases are equipped with scratch resistant sapphire crystals on both sides and are water resistant to 30 meters / 3 bars. Sizes are 39mm x 9.4mm (Sixties) - 42mm x 12.4mm (Sixties Panorama Date).
The Sixties model is powered by the Calibre 39-52 while the Sixties Panorama Date is equipped with the Caliber 39-47. Both movements are manufacture and self-winding. Beat rate is of 4Hz (28,800vph).
The models, which are not limited editions, will be produced for a year only. Both models are offered on brown alligator straps that are secured by standard pin buckles made of stainless steel.
