Grand Seiko recently introduced a collection of new models that bring together the Caliber 9F movement family under the same roof with the GMT function.
While the GMT complication and high-end Caliber 9F Quartz movements are not new concepts, the meeting of those two happens for the first time in brand’s history. The new collection belongs to the Grand Seiko Sport product line.
Developed exclusively for the new model family, the Caliber 9F86 offers a second time function that allows the user to independently adjust the GMT hands besides the familiar features of the 9F platform.
The models, which are offered in three different versions including a special one limited to 800 units to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Caliber 9F movement platform, come in 100 meters stainless steel cases measuring 39mm in diameter and 12.1mm in height.
