Greubel Forsey introduced three new work of art state models at the SIHH 2018 exhibition. Models created by the talented hands of Robert Greubel and Stephan Forsey bring a new breath to the hi-end watchmaking.
Let’s take a look at the newly introduced models.
GMT EARTH TOURBILLON 24 SEC
The new model offers a 360 degree view from Northern Hemisphere to Southern Hemisphere through its sapphire crystals on all sides. The newly introduced version features update on its case and dial.
Limited to 33 units only, the new model gives its user a different experience with in terms of specs and design. The model sports Tourbillon, GMT and power reserve indicator functions and a world figure at 7 o’clock which differentiates it from the previous versions.
DIFFERENTIAL D’EGALITE
Differentiel d’egalite, another novelty from the brand, comes with an 18K white gold case measuring 44mm x 15.30mm. Sapphire crystals are preferred on the front and back of the model. Differentiel d’Egalite offers a water resistance value of 30 meters.
The hand-wound movement has the patented "Spherical Differentiel d’Egalite Tourbillon" function. Composed of 359 parts, the movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 and offers a power reserve of 60 hours when fully wound.
DOUBLE BALANCIER
The model comes in a 5K pink gold case measuring 43mm x 13.38mm. The most important feature of the model is that its patented balance wheel with a 30 degree angle. The movement, composed of 285 pieces, operates at a frequency of 21,600 and provides 72 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
