Legendary hero archaeologist Indiana Jones returns to the big screen on June 30 with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Fate, the latest film in the iconic series. On his return, Indy wears Hamilton's iconic 1940s Boulton watch on his wrist.
First released in 1941, the Boulton was one of Hamilton's most sought-after watches in that world-changing decade. Boulton, which had a face-lift in the 1980s and then re-introduced several times, continues to meet modern needs while preserving its old charm. Boulton's newest version evokes old-school elegance while maintaining its place among the timeless classics of the watchmaking world.
The new model comes in a Tonneau-style case measuring 27mm x 31mm x 7.8mm. Periodically correct, the yellow gold PVD-coated case promises an elegant yet powerful presence on the wrist with its 41.5mm lug-to-lug distance.
The dial, a prominent feature of the model, hosts applique Arabic number indices on a white background. Emphasizing the Art Deco style, the small seconds counter at 6 o'clock and the elegant double-curved crown reinforce the nostalgic character of the model.
The new model comes to life with the ETA 980.163 movement. The battery-powered movement, which is a positive choice in terms of the sales price of the model, also offers practicality for watch enthusiasts who have a large number of watches in their collection.
The stylish model is fastened to the wrist with an alligator-effect brown strap and a standard clasp with the Hamilton logo.
The list price for the elegant model is 775 EUR.
