Hamilton greets its enthusiasts with three new references bearing traces of its past full of military and aviation-themed models.
Continuing its activities since 1918, Hamilton is known for its unique experience in military and aviation-themed models. The American-based brand, which also includes models from these two segments in its product line, which is full of watches that are virtually unrivaled in terms of price/performance, today strengthens its position with three new pilot's watches designed and produced in a retro style.
Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer 43mm Hand-Wound
Paying homage to the brand's glorious past, the two new models come with case alternatives made of stainless steel as well as bronze alloy, one of the popular materials of recent years. The case, measuring 43mm in diameter and 13mm in height, features a bi-directional rotating bezel with a mineral glass insert and an AR-coated sapphire crystal at the front side. The case, which draws attention with its classic style, hosts a metal case back with a sapphire crystal display and a large crown with the Hamilton logo. With its matte surface form, the case offers a presence in line with the "Tool Watch" style and is waterproof up to 100 meters.
The new models are fitted with matte black dials with a grainy surface. The dials, which are equipped with old radium-colored phosphorus-filled large numeral indices and cathedral-style hands, reinforce the retro look of the model, with the effect of the small seconds counter added at 6 o'clock. The Mechanical inscription placed near the center of the dial with the classic Hamilton logo, emphasizes the movement that brings the model to life.
The Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer 43mm Hand-Wound model family beats by the Caliber 6498-1 produced by ETA Unitas. Known as a legend among modern hand-wound calibers, the 649X-based movement offers a power reserve time of up to 50 hours when fully wound.

Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer 38mm Automatic, another model in the new series, comes in a stainless steel case with a diameter of 38mm and a height of 11.4mm.
The prominent differences in the model, which offers the same features as the 43mm group in terms of design, are the second hand moved to the center, the Khaki Automatic lettering that replaces the Mechanical lettering, and the Caliber H10 movement with an 80-hour power reserve. The list price for the Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer 38mm Automatic (Ref. H76205530) is CHF 945.
