The new Hamilton Ventura Elvis80 Skeleton brings an ultra-modern perspective to the past, present, and future of the world's first electric watch.
The Hamilton Ventura model family, which was introduced in 1957 and became the world's first electric watch, is expanding with two new members. The new models are based on the brand's Elvis80 platform, in memory of the legendary musician and actor Elvis Presley's Ventura, which he used while filming his famous 1961 blockbuster Blue Hawaii.
The new collection comes in two different versions, black PVD coated and rose gold PVD coated stainless steel. Using the modern Ventura Elvis80 platform, the cases measure 42.5 x 44.6 x 12.33mm. The cases, which stand out with their unique design as well as their bold dimensions, sport sapphire crystal on both sides. Both models are waterproof up to 50 meters.
The new models added to the product group are home to skeleton-style dials. While the pink gold-themed model includes accents in the same tone, the black model draws attention with red details. Decorated with baton markers, triangular hands, and a stylized electric current motif that divides the dial into two, the dials complete the striking design of the cases.
Both models are powered by the Caliber H-10 movement. The automatic movement, designed and produced by Swatch Group, comes out with 80 hours of power reserve when fully wound. The movement, which is wound with a perforated rotor with the classic Hamilton logo, can be viewed through the sapphire crystal display case back.
Newly added models to the family are accompanied by a black rubber strap with Hamilton inscription and Hamilton signed buckles prepared following the case material.
