When it comes to watches and cars, the first name that comes to mind is the Hublot - Ferrari brand partnership which is approaching its sixth year. We had the opportunity to review the latest models in the product line at the brand’s beautiful boutique at Istinye Park Shopping Mall.

There are three versions in the collection: Titanium, King Gold and Carbon Fiber. Each of the watches, which are all designed on the same platform, seems pretty different from each other thanks to the alternative materials and cleverly added exclusive details.

Big Bang Ferrari Titanium

The limited edition model with 1000 units contains all the features of the new Ferrari Collection. Inspired by the lines on the back of the LaFerrari model, the iconic Big Bang case design is in the process of becoming more and smoother with fluid lines. The Ferrari name, which is emphasized in the sandwich-style detail on the right side of the case, also brings a very original look. The readability is significantly increased thanks to the re-designed hand set, while the dial layout is made in the typical tri-compax chronograph format. Inspired by the design of the Ferrari’s classic tachymeter, the minute sub-dial is located at 3 o’clock.

Big Bang Ferrari King Gold

One of the most eye-catching models of the new product line is undoubtedly the King Gold version. The model, which is limited to a span of 500 units only, is offered in a 45mm diameter case made of brand’s patented 18K gold alloy, King Gold. Featuring a matte finish for a modern and sporty look, the case comes with a rubber-lined, red-stitched Alcantra strap inspired by Ferrari’s interior design and a Hublot signed folding clasp made of King Gold alloy as well.

Big Bang Ferrari Carbon

The other 500 pieces limited edition version of the new product line is offered in the trending alternative material carbon fiber. The red accents that make a successful contrast with the black structure of the carbon positively affect the readability, while the model tributes to its Ferrari inspiration. The carbon version, arguably the sportiest model of the collection, is also accompanied by the red stitched Alcantra strap and a black folding clasp.

All versions in the collection are powered by the brand’s technological marvel Caliber Unico. The oscillating rotor of the self-winding movement is inspired by the Ferrari’s popular wheel designs, in accordance with the brand partnership concept. The chronograph featured movement, which also includes technological innovations such as a silicon escapement wheel and double clutch column wheel, can be enjoyed through the sapphire crystal display on the caseback, just like viewing the engine from the transparent hood of a Ferrari.
