Hublot, one of the unique names in luxury watchmaking, announced a new Big Bang model made of patented gold alloy Magic Gold.
The famous brand celebrated the 10th anniversary of its cult collection Big Bang in 2015 with the Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold model. Produced from the brand's patented gold alloy Magic Gold, the special model came to life with the proprietary Unico movement with a double-clutch mechanism and a chronograph with a visible column wheel through the dial. The brand once again met watch enthusiasts with a new Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold model on the 18th anniversary of its model family.
The new model comes in a modern Big Bang case designed with a diameter of 42mm and a height of 14.5mm. The 18K Magic Gold alloy used in the case, on the other hand, offers great resistance to situations such as scratches and oxidation, thanks to the firing of the ceramic powder known as boron-nitrite, which is among its components, up to 2000C. The case, which is waterproof up to 100 meters, hosts signature details such as the bezel, which is fixed with six H-head screws, and sapphire crystal on the front and back.
The stylish model houses a perforated dial designed in the form of Bi-Compax. The dial, which draws attention with its complex design, promises sufficient legibility in almost any environment thanks to baton markers and hands filled with SLN. The dial, featuring Magic Gold-tone details added on silver, anthracite, and black movement components, also references the modern and innovative character of the brand with its industrial design.
The sporty model is powered by the Caliber HUB1280 movement. The automatic movement with Bi-Compax Chronograph operates at a frequency of 4Hz and offers up to 72 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
Limited to only 200 pieces, the model is complemented by a patterned black rubber strap and a Hublot signature folding clasp made of black ceramic/black titanium components. The list price for the model is EUR 40,600.
