Hublot takes its Art of Fusion motto to the top with the new Big Bang Unico Nespresso Origin.

This concept, which extends from famous athletes to successful artists as well as brands from different sectors, finds its place in the products of many watch brands today. It is possible to talk about many brands in cooperation, but Hublot has a different place in this regard. The brand, which has signed many unique collaborations with the motto of Art of Fusion, offers this concept to watch lovers again with its new model.
Hublot Big Bang Unico Nespresso Origin bears the signature of not only Hublot but also the famous Swiss coffee brand Nespresso, as the name suggests. However, it is possible to find much more than a signature in this collaboration.
Nespresso has been looking for ways to limit the effectiveness of disposable coffee capsules for many years. The brand's work includes the Second Life Project, launched in 2016, which aims to encourage recycling by showing how the capsule can be reused. So, how can Hublot cooperate with a coffee producer? The new model comes in a modern Big Bang case designed with a diameter of 42.5mm and a height of 14.5mm. 28% of the aluminum raw material used in the construction of the case, which attracts attention with its anodized green color, is obtained from recycled aluminum from Nespresso capsules. The case, with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides, is resistant to 100 meters of water pressure. The sporty case is complemented by a cover made of environmentally friendly Eco-Titanium alloy.
Hublot Big Bang Unico Nespresso Origin comes with an industrial-style perforated dial designed in tone according to the concept. The time is tracked with SLN phosphorus-filled hands and large numeral indices on the dial prepared in the Bi-Compax chronograph arrangement.
The new model is powered by the in-house designed and produced Caliber HUB1280 Unico movement. The automatic movement, which includes Bi-Compax chronograph and date features in addition to displaying the time, consists of 43-jewels/354 components, oscillates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph), and offers a power reserve time of up to 72 hours when fully wound.
Hublot Big Bang Unico Nespresso Origin comes with two strap options made of eco-materials. The first uses 4.1% recycled coffee grounds and 8.2% recycled white rubber. The latter is produced in partnership with SingTex, a partner of Nespresso, which produces a fabric made of 5% recycled coffee grounds and 95% recycled polyester. The straps can be changed in seconds with a single click and without tools.
The model, which is limited to only 200 pieces, is offered for sale at EUR 25,200.
