A trilogy is born out of the collaboration between Hublot and Garage Italia;”Sky, Earth, Sea“. The first edition of the trilogy, which is limited to 100 pieces only, is introduced by May.
What do you think of Hublot? What we think about it, as mentioned in their famous Art of Fusion motto, the bold use of different materials and colors in its timepieces. The importance of blue in Swiss watchmaking is obvious; almost every brand has maybe dozens of models that use blue. However, playing with harmony with different shades of this beautiful color and creating a sense of “eternity” is not a task that can be achieved by any brand.
The Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot created a three-part concept entitled "Sky, Earth, Sea" I collaboration with Milan’s automobile design house Garage Italia. The trilogy that focuses on blue already attracts attention of watch aficionados with the first Classic Fusion Chronograph Garage Italia model.
The model is powered by the new generation manufacture Caliber HUB1143. Equipped with a column-wheel Flyback chronograph feature, the self-winding movement offers a power reserve up to 42 hours when fully wound.
The matt ceramic case finished in light and dark blue tones measures 45mm in diameter and 13.50mm in height. The case sports the classic bezel attached with 6 titanium screws and made of blue ceramic as well with polished and satin finished surfaces. Water resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM), the case is equipped with a glossy blue ceramic case back featuring a sapphire crystal.
The dial hosts an Italia Independent logo at the sub-counter located at 3 o’clock. Again, the hour markers and hands finished in sky blue color complements the overall design.
Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Garage Italia comes with a navy striped rubber strap and a titanium folding clasp. The model, which offers almost every shade of blue, is available with a MSRP of 13,400 CHF.
