With its Art of Fusion motto, Hublot combines elegance and luxury on a black canvas with Classic Fusion Gold Crystal, home to one of the most fascinating forms of gold.
There are two different versions in the collection. Sharing the same technical and visual features, the models are separated from each other by their 45mm x 10.95mm and 38mm x 9.6mm cases. Both models come in black ceramic cases. The cases feature symbol details such as cases with sapphire crystals on both sides, H-headed bezel screws, and a large crown with the Hublot logo. Both models can withstand water pressure up to 100 meters.
The Gold Crystal detail, which gives its name to the concept, welcomes us on the dial. The motif on the dial, reminiscent of fossilized plants, is crafted from solid gold material, which reconstructs an idea introduced in 2017 with Hublot's experimental Gold Crystal watch based on gold, known to be found in rivers around Geneva, created by evaporating precious metal. This processing technique developed by the brand starts with a small amount of pure, 24-carat gold. The metal is heated to its melting point and then further heated to create a steam-like gold stream. The tiny gold particles are then channeled into a cold metal plate and instantly cooled to reveal what Hublot calls "gold crystals". The pieces obtained are then arranged by hand on a black dial, covered with a clear polish, and finally baked in an oven to harden the material.
Caliber HUB1112, based on Sellita SW-300-1, is used in both models. The automatic movement operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers 42 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
Ref. 511.CX.0660.LR (45 mm) and Ref. 565.CX.0660.LR (38 mm) models feature the same black rubber-lined alligator leather strap.
