With time machines based on fluid mechanics, HYT continues breaking new grounds in exotic watchmaking with its new H5 model.
Time flows... Just like the liquids, that HYT circulates through the capillary tubes to display the time. Nope, I am not quoting from a lyric poem. I am talking about the extraordinary representative of exotic watchmaking, HYT, and its timepieces. Equipped with cutting-edge technology and industrial design details, HYT watches take the bar one step further with every new model.
HYT has chosen to collaborate with TEC Group and Eric Coudray on the new H5. Equipped with the new Caliber 501, which has undergone various technical improvements, the watch is perfectly synchronized with hours and minutes thanks to its specially designed components. Let’s not forget that there are no hour and minute hand, we are talking about a watch where time is displayed by the movement of pressurized liquids. The 41 jewels hand-wound Caliber 501 operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a power reserve of 65 hours when fully wound. In addition to the time display, the dial also has a small seconds counter and a power reserve indicator.
The case of the HYT H5 is as meticulously designed as its dial and movement. The 48.8mm x 20.088mm stainless steel offers an unexpected wrist comfort thanks to its exclusively designed, lug-free form. The top and side parts of the watch, which is 50 meters water-resistant, are surrounded by carefully shaped sapphire crystal. The perforated black rubber strap is one of the elements that increase the practicality and sportiness of the watch.
The model is available in two versions with green and black liquids on the time display. In the green version, the indexes surrounding the sides of the watch are black and in the black version, the same compartment is SuperLuminova applied. Both models have a list price of 55,000CHF and a limited production of 25 units per each.
