How unique can a wristwatch be? Or what is required to call a watch unique? HYT is the leading brand among few brands that answers these questions properly. The boutique brand is once again under the spotlight with its HYT H1.0 (REF. H02095-A) model in our review corner.

HYT is a very young brand when it’s about luxury watchmaking. It is possible to say that H1.0 is the youngest product-line of the brand. The model family, which began to appear in HYT catalogs in 2017, is now available in four different versions. The models, which differ from each other with aesthetic details, use the same technological infrastructure.
The version we opted for our review (REF. H02095-A) comes with a hefty case designed in 48.8mm thickness and 20.08mm height, which also hosts the other versions of the model family. With the effect of the high and domed sapphire crystal on the front, the possibility of not being noticed is eliminated. The case is made of stainless steel with an anthracite tone PVD coating and satin finishes. The waterproofness of the case is limited to 50 meters / 5 bar.
When you look at the front side of the model, a dial designed for the liquid display system, which has become the symbol of HYT, welcomes you. At 6 o’clock, two bellows give life to the system. The dial features a power reserve indicator, designed with red details, between 2 and 3 o’clock. On the opposite side, the model’s turbine-shaped seconds display stands out perfectly in keeping with the model’s industrial design. The minute sub-dial, positioned at 12 o’clock, provides enough legibility to read the time with its black minute hand and green Super-Luminova® C7 phosphor-filled indexes. The liquid, which works as the hour display, is designed for this version in black and is easily visible with green Super-Luminova® C7 phosphor material under the glass capillary.
The HYT H1.0 family is powered by a manufacture hand-wound movement. 35 jewels movement beats at 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a power reserve of 65 hours when fully wound. The movement is home to the brand’s patented Micro-Fluidic module. The system works with two different immiscible liquids, and one of the liquids is transparent and the other has a color selected to provide sufficient contrast. BOROSILICATE material is used in the production of capillary tubes in which liquids move. In addition to all these Hi-Tech features, the movement’s bridges are hand-beveled and decorated with Côtes de Genève motifs, which are enjoyable with the rest of the movement thanks to the sapphire crystals on both sides of the case.
HYT H1.0 (REF. H02095-A) comes on a dark gray rubber strap decorated with small dot patterns. The strap is secured by an anthracite PVD coated folding clasp made of titanium.
