Horobox crowns the HYT H5 Horobox Limited Edition model, which is limited to five pieces only exclusively for Horobox Inside group members, with a short film directed by Eray DİNÇ, one of the talented artists of our country.
You can guess the conversations that occur when watch enthusiasts come together. Watches are bought, watches are sold... After my first visit to Baselworld, I felt that we had to carry our love for watches to a different dimension. I arranged a meeting as soon as I got back. The subject of our conversation with our beloved Burak and Doruk this time was not the watches as usual, but a platform dedicated to watches. Although no one understood what we were doing at first, I think we managed to become one of the indispensable platforms of watch enthusiasts in the following days.
As we kept developing in an editorial sense, the traffic we received to our website continued to increase day by day. While thinking about a change that will make a sound, a watch I saw at the 2018 Baselworld trade show opened the door for the action we were looking for. Together with the utmost support of their contacts in Turkey, D-Saat, our partner for the first Horobox Limited Edition project, became Arnold & Son.
We started working on our second project without wasting any time after that wonderfully enjoyable experience. A big surprise awaited us, Horobox Inside members, on our trip to HYT's manufacture.
At the end of his presentation, the CEO of the brand, Gregory DOURDE, shared with us the latest model that the brand will launch soon. The honor of seeing the model for the first time in the world of watches, other than brand employees, being granted to the members of Horobox Inside, was more like the confirmation of what our next limited watch project would be.
Bringing a different breath to Swiss watchmaking with its patented liquid display technology, HYT introduced its new art-like movement, Caliber 501, to the world of watches with the H5 model. The H5 model, featuring a manual winding movement inside, attracted attention with its 65-hour power reserve. As team Horobox Inside, we were very impressed by the watch, which has a water resistance value of 50 meters thanks to its screw-lock crown. We started to negotiate about the possible personalization alternatives immediately after we got back, agreed on a mutual point, and pressed the button for our second limited edition watch project.
HYT decided to use the blue liquid in the Horobox Limited Edition for the first time with the H5 model. In addition to this detail, which was a great privilege for us, them being able to offer the limited edition quantity in red among the hour markers on the side of the case elevated the value of our limited watch to another level. The Horobox name and logo on the case back were added along with our project-specific H5 logo. Horobox details on the sapphire case back, which allows us to see the Caliber 501 clearly, was one of the specialties that increased the pleasure of our project. The HYT H5 Horobox Limited Edition was perhaps the watch that has seen the most wrist time since we received it with the exclusive presentation box and certificate.
As Horobox, we can make limited edition watches with a significant and innovative brand such as HYT. Now, this is a genuine pride and joy for us. Besides, I would like to say that being in such a peculiar project was an invaluable excitement for me as well as my friends with whom I shared this experience.
