We had a pleasant conversation with Wilhelm Schmid, the successful CEO of A. Lange & Söhne from the German heavyweights of the luxury watchmaking industry.
During the interview that we made at the brand’s magnificent booth at the SIHH 2018 exhibition, we talked about the A. Lange & Söhne novelties of the year, particularly the stunning Triple Split and the Saxonia Thin models.
We also talked about the difference between the German and Swiss watch industry and what this means for the users as well as the future plans of the brand and their approach to alternative materials that are spreading rapidly in the sector.
