IWC brings together the flagship model family of the Pilot's Watch collection, one of the best-seller product groups, Big Pilots Watch Perpetual Calendar, with white ceramic.
The model, which we first saw on the wrist of the famous Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, who has 7 world championships, draws attention with its unique white tone.
The new model comes with a classic IWC Big Pilots Watch Perpetual Calendar style case designed with a diameter of 46.5mm and a height of 15.5mm. The front of the white ceramic alloy case has a domed sapphire crystal that is resistant to sudden pressure drops, has an anti-reflective coating, and is resistant to scratches. Offering 6 bar/60m water resistance, the case sports an IWC-signed and screw-in crown.
The impressive model houses a black dial designed to contrast with the white theme. On the dial hosting phosphorescent hands and indices, information such as day, date, month, and year in the form of a four-digit display, moon phase for the northern and southern hemispheres, as well as the status of the 7-day power reserve can be followed.
As with other versions, the model, which comes to life with the brand's in-house automatic Caliber 52615 with a 7-day power reserve and perpetual calendar feature, is complemented by a white rubber strap, designed following the theme and accompanied by an IWC-signed folding buckle.
The list price for the model, which is planned to reach boutiques and sales points by July 2023, is EUR 43,700.
