IWC announced the new model of the Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN model family, adapted to the Mojave Desert theme, which is considered one of the most interesting color palettes of recent times.
IWC, which is the first name that comes to mind when it comes to classic pilot watches today, continues to add new references to its wide product range. Although classic in theme, the IWC Design Team interprets the rich history and experience of the brand with alternative materials and previously untried colors, revealing the perfect meeting of the concept with modern times.
The new model added to the team comes with a modern Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN style case, designed with a diameter of 41.9mm and a height of 15.5mm. The sporty case, made of sand beige ceramic by the Mojave Desert concept, hosts a steel winding crown and chronograph pushers. There is a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the front of the case, which provides the water resistance required for a sports chronograph model with its 100m water resistance value. On the back of the case, which stands out effortlessly on the wrist with its unique color, there is an ultra-light titanium cover with Top Gun engraving.
The new model sports a brown dial, which we are familiar with from models with a similar color theme. Sand beige Super-LumiNOVA filled indices and hands have a look in line with the color scheme. The Tri-Compax chronograph dial also includes day and date indicators.
The new model draws its power from the brand's proprietary movement, Caliber IWC 69380. In addition to the timekeeping function, the 33-jewel automatic movement also hosts a column wheel chronograph and day and date features. The movement operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers up to 46 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
The model, which stands out with its color palette, comes on a fabric-lined, beige rubber strap. The stylish model is fixed to the wrist by an IWC-signed titanium buckle.
