The well-established brand based in Schaffhausen is expanding the Portofino product line, which has become one of the classics, with a classic complication.
Considered the most classic product group of IWC since the 80s when it was first introduced, Portofino hosts the Complete Calendar function in its new version, which we can call at least as classic as the model itself. The elegant model comes in a case in 18K 5N rose gold and stainless steel options. The new model family hosts a silver-ground dial. The dials, in which the components are produced in harmony with the case material, have a sub-dial at 6 o'clock with discs showing the month and the days of the month. Equipped with a silicon balance wheel and a pallet fork, the automatic movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and stands out with a power reserve of 72 hours/3 days when fully wound. The caliber, which can be watched with pleasure through the sapphire crystal display case back, also hosts the complete calendar complication, which is a practical and user-friendly feature besides requiring adjustment at months with less than 31 days.
