IWC has added two new models equipped with Panda-themed dials to its Portugieser product line, one of its well-established model families.

Portugieser, which emerged at the request of two Portuguese sea-loving merchants in the 1930s, is among the main product groups of the Schaffhausen-based brand today. The collection, which includes sports-themed models as well as classic lines, says hello to two new references today.

The newly added models to the collection host contrast dials, which are known as Panda dials among watch enthusiasts. The dials, prepared with vivid blue tones on silvery white, also pay homage to the past of the model family with color palettes reminiscent of the sea.

IWC Portugieser Automatic 7 Days Blue Panda Dial 2022 - IW500715

Portugieser Automatic 7 Days (Ref. IW500715), one of the models added to the collection, comes in a stainless steel case with a diameter of 42.3mm and a height of 14.1mm. The case, which does not lose its elegance on the wrist despite its large diameter, is equipped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides. The models, which are fixed to the wrist with a crocodile strap accompanied by an IWC-signed folding clasp, tick with the Caliber 52010, which stands out with its 7-day power reserve.

IWC Portugieser Chronograph Blue Panda Dial 2022 - IW371620

The other model of the new series, the Portugieser Chronograph (Ref. IW371620), comes with a 41mm x 13.1mm stainless steel case. The case, which has scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides, is fixed to the wrist with a blue rubber strap complemented by an IWC-signed folding clasp. The sporty model comes to life with the Caliber 69355 with an automatic chronograph feature and 46-hour power reserve.
