This year, Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates the 25th Anniversary of its cult product group, the Master Control collection. The famous brand has crowned the last 25 years with three special edition models.

All new models included in the collection are based on the same dial design. On the dials made up of two different surfaces, blue details on light colors were used. Our favorite is the Master Control Chronograph version among the models that offer a simple but elegant look and slightly retro mood.

The dial, which hosts the blue details on the surface that combines the shades of white and silver, has managed to maintain its simple but functional appearance. The blue details, which provide enough contrast with the surface colors, have influenced the readability of the clock positively.

The Master Control Chronograph stands out as the model with the largest case size of the new collection. The thickness of the model, which comes with a stainless steel case with a diameter of 40mm, is designed with a 12.1mm thickness, which can be considered very reasonable for an automatic chronograph. It is possible to see the vintage touch on the winding crown and chronograph buttons of the model which continues its elegant design with its thin and plain bezel. There is a sapphire crystal on the front side, while the back side is covered with a solid stainless steel caseback.

The watch, which offers a very comfortable wear thanks to its excellent ratio of case dimensions, is especially noteworthy with its dial designed in a bi-compax chronograph lay-out. Apart from the Jaeger-LeCoultre logo, there is only Automatique writing on the dial. The dual-layer dial and blue accessories, which are common features of the new collection, have been crafted in a very stylish way. The new model is powered by the brand’s in-house Caliber Ref. 751G. The self-winding movement is equipped with a chronograph module that measures up to 12 hours, and offers a 65h power reserve when fully wound. It’s also worth noting that the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph model is the only model without a sapphire crystal display caseback.

There is a crocodile strap on the watch that is designed to fit in perfectly with the blue details. The strap is secured with a stainless steel signed buckle.

There are two more models in the Master Control collection. The flag ship of the new collection is the Master Control Geographic model. The model, which registers not only with the world timer complication it sports, but the price tag it carries, seemed to have become one of the latest stars of the brand with its design not compromising its simple looks and cleverly arranged dial lay-out. There is also a Master Control Date model in the collection for the users who prefer standard models.
