Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Collection

Jaeger-LeCoultre added two new models to its Polaris Collection, designed in Heritage style.

The new series includes two models, the Polaris Mariner Date, and the Polaris Mariner Memovox.

Sharing the same design language, the models come in 42mm diameter stainless steel cases. While the Date model is 13.92mm thick, the Memovox version with the signature alarm feature is designed at 15.63mm thickness. The mostly matt-finished cases are equipped with sapphire crystals on both sides. The Compressor type case, another model family symbol, features an extra winding crown for the inner rotating diver’s bezel. The water pressure resistance value for both models is 300 meters, suitable for a professional diver's watch.

Both models are equipped with dials bearing the signature details of the Polaris Collection. Super-LumiNOVA phosphor-filled wide hands and large markers accompany the dark blue dials that darken from the center. While the orange accents used on the dial affect legibility positively, they also emphasize the sporty theme of the model family. Both models feature a date window at 3 o'clock on the dial. The Memovox version with the alarm feature differs from the Date model with the second arrow symbol on the dial.

The models are powered by the manufacture automatic movements. While the Memovox model beats with the Caliber 956 with a 45-hour power reserve, the Date model features the Caliber 899 movement.
