On the eve of the Reverso’s 90th anniversary, Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced a new limited-edition Tribute model that attracts attention with its burgundy red theme.
Reverso, a watchmaking legend born in 1931, warms our hearts with one of the most precious examples of the double-faced design concept, in the last of 2020. Reverso has a unique charm and reputation both under the JLC roof and among all watch models. With the newly introduced Duoface Fagliano Limited Edition, this attractive effect is taken one step further.
The model has an 18K rose gold case measuring 47mm x 28.3mm x 10.3mm. Both sides of the case sport sapphire crystals. The model is water-resistant to 30 meters. Reverso, featuring a reversing mechanism designed to protect the crystal during polo games, has a two-face design with two different characters. One side hosts a ruby red dial with small seconds, while the other side offers a silver dial with a day/night indicator.
In the heart of the model, which is also groundbreaking in versatility with two different faces in one watch, the in-house produced Caliber 854A / 2 beats. 19-jewels movement beats at a frequency of 3Hz (21600vph) and offers a 42-hour power reserve. A single caliber (and a single winding crown) controls the hands on both dials.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Fagliano Limited Edition is limited to a span of 190 units and is available at CHF 22,500 (including Swiss VAT). The model comes with a Shell Cordovan leather and canvas combined strap and a buckle made of 18K pink gold, just like the case. The producer of the strap is Casa Fagliano, the world-famous shoe, accessory, and strap manufacturer.
