Laurent Ferrier, one of the boutique brands of the industry, was acclaimed for its new model, Galet Regulateur, which draws attention with its unique design.
The new model is available in two case options as 18K white gold or stainless steel. The case, which sports AR coated sapphire crystals on both sides, measures 40m x 10.9mm and comes with a water proofing rate of 30 meters.
Designed with vertically brushed patterns on a silver tone surface, the dial features a pair of sub-dials at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock. The sub-dial located at the 12 o’clock position displays the hours while one at 6 o’clock position shows the seconds. The single center hand displays the minutes.
The dial, which does not contain any phosphor materials, does not perform very well in dark environments.
The new model is powered by the brand’s in-house movement Caliber Ref. 228.01. 35 jewels self-winding movement beats at 21600vph and offers a power reserve of 3 days when fully wound. The movement, which is decorated with classic Côtes de Genève pattern and equipped with a micro-rotor, can be enjoyed through the sapphire crystal display caseback.
Laurent Ferrier Galet Regulateur comes on a hand-swen gray alligator strap. The strap is secured by a folding clasp made of 18K white gold or stainless steel referring to the case.
The new models will be available as of July 2017 with the MSRPs as US $ 40,000 for the stainless steel and US $ 55,000 for the 18K white gold version.
