Maurice Lacroix Pontos Chronograph 43mm - New Models

Maurice Lacroix Pontos Chronograph 43mm - New Models

Maurice Lacroix, the successful representative in the sports chronograph segment, adds new versions to the Pontos Chronograph 43mm model family.

The Pontos concept, which is among the iconic designs of the well-established Swiss brand, underwent a comprehensive face-lift in 2020, marking the 20th anniversary of the collection, and once again combined the concept's design language, which is a candidate for classicism, with modern times. The model family, which draws attention with its almost unrivaled price/performance ratio in its segment as well as its original design elements, took its place among the 2023 innovations with its recently introduced new members.

Sharing the same features as the technically up-to-date Pontos Chronograph 43mm model family, the new versions stand out with new dial colors designed in black and anthracite tones.

The new models come with a stainless steel case designed with a diameter of 43mm and a height of 15mm. The Pontos Chronograph 43mm occupies a special place in the sports-chronograph segment with its thin bezel, characteristic two-form lug design, large chronograph pushers, and spiral-patterned crown. The stylish case, with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides, again underlines the sports theme with its 100-meter water resistance.

The dials, which are the distinguishing features of the two new models added to the collection, come in matte black and slightly contrasting anthracite background colors. The dials, designed in the Tri-Compax chronograph arrangement, host baton hands and large numeral indices. The date display, placed within the chronograph counter at 6 o'clock, preserves the integrity of the design with the selected date disc in harmony with the dial color as well as its location.

Caliber ML112 gives life to new models. The Sellita SW500-based automatic chronograph movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800vph) and offers a power reserve of up to 42 hours when fully wound.
