Among the accomplishments of the Italian mountaineer, born in 1944, are the adventures that push the boundaries like climbing Everest without oxygen support for the first time, becoming the first mountaineer to climb all 14 peaks above 8000 meters and Nanga Parbat summit, crossing Antarctica, Greenland and the Gobi Desert.

The model has a 42mm x 12.8mm bronze case with sapphire crystal on the front and a closed case back with Messner-specific engravings on the back. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters. The model manages to appeal to adventurous spirits by crowning the characteristic details of the 1858 series with a blue dial, which makes it clear that it is a limited version. Super-LumiNOVA phosphor material, which is applied to the direction indices on the bidirectional bezel, also finds its place on the dial. The model, in which blue and green luminous surfaces are used together, sets standards in terms of night visibility.
