Patek Philippe unveils a beautiful new model that’s going to check a lot of boxes for Patek Philippe collectors.
How you ask? Simple. It just popped up on the website. No press release, no announcement, nothing. Patek Philippe is so fun.
The new 5204R utilizes a hand-wound Patek Philippe CHR 29-535/PS-Q Grand Complication chronograph movement that features a split second and perpetual calendar. Beating at 28,800vph, with a power reserve of 65 hours, it’s a beauty.
However it’s most notable feature is its new (and frankly gorgeous) black opaline dial against the 18k rose gold case. This piece additionally comes with a feature for a rose gold or leather bracelet and measures in at 40mm in diameter, and 14.3mm high. The bracelet comes with the brand’s signature fold-over clasp.
The interchangeable full-back, or sapphire case back adds another cool dimension to this beauty.
No doubt Patek Philippe lives up to its perfect reputation with the 5204/1R-001 (001 being Patek Philippe’s reference for a bracelet. A full-blown solid rose-gold, cross link beauty).
This piece is only available via application, and will cost around 275,000 CHF.
