The Saxon brand from Glashütte is expanding its successful Ahoi Atlantic collection with three new versions featuring new dials and technical updates.
The NOMOS Ahoi Atlantic collection hosts three new models, two 40mm and one 36mm version.
Under the references, 557 (no-date) and 558 (Datum) are two watches measuring 40.3mm in diameter and 10.6mm in height. Both watches are powered by the automatic Caliber DUW 5001 (no date) or DUW 5101 (date), in-house movements that feature the brand’s swing system and offer up to 42 hours of power reserve.
At the heart of the Neomatik 36mm model, which comes with a 36.3mm diameter and 9.6mm high case, the Caliber DUW 3001 beats. The automatic movement, which is also in-house, comes with the Swing System escapement and offers a power reserve time of up to 43 hours when fully wound.
Despite their relatively slim design, all models come with a satisfying 200-meter waterproof rating.
The new models host deep blue dials. The dials designed following the simple and functional style of NOMOS, promise sufficient legibility on almost any occasion thanks to the Super-LumiNOVA-filled hands and markers. The small second hand added at 6 o'clock brings the model family closer to a retro style, while the second hand, designed in a striking red tone, adds sportiness to the dial.
All three new models come with navy blue nylon straps designed per both the theme and the common high water-resistance feature of the models.
NOMOS Ahoi Atlantik, Ahoi Atlantik Datum, and Ahoi Neomatik Atlantik can only be ordered through the official website of the brand for now. The list prices for the models, which are planned to reach the sales points in a short time, are as follows; 3,140 Euros for 40mm no-date, 3,620 Euros for 40mm Datum, and 3,240 Euros for Neomatik 36mm.
