German-born boutique brand Nomos Glashütte, which is famous for its simple but functional designs reflecting Bauhaus style, introduced its second limited edition model designed in collaboration with the Dutch brand Ace Jewelers.
One of the glowing German stars of the luxury watchmaking, Nomos Glashütte, once again shook hands with the famous Dutch jeweler and watch retailer Ace Jewelers for a new limited edition model. Following the Orion model introduced earlier this year, the two names reunited for the new Nomos Club Campus Amsterdam Limited Edition by Ace Jewelers (Ref. 738.S1) model that is inspired by Amsterdam.
The first fruit of the Nomos Glashütte/Ace Jewelers brand partnership, Orion, which emphasized the design language of Nomos Glashütte with its clean and simple lines, while referring to the Dutch art movement ’De Stijl with its asymmetric index dial, has received great acclaim. The duo got together for a new model and opted the Club Campus model family for their second creation.
The new model is based on the Club Campus platform, which has succeeded in creating a unique fan base, especially with the model alternatives it has achieved in recent years. Measuring 38.5mm in diameter and 8.3mm in height, the model is offered in a stainless steel case that is equipped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides. Mostly glossy finished, the case is water resistant to 100 meters 10 bars. The winding crown is adorned with embossed XXX, which refers to the Amsterdam flag.
The most obvious point that the model is differentiated from the standard versions is undoubtedly the dial design. Offered with a Ruthenium covered galvanized metal background, the dial features Arabic and Roman numeral indices designed in bright red which again refer to Amsterdam flag. Hosting a silvery white finished small seconds counter at 6 o’clock, the dial is accompanied with Rhodium plated hands.
Nomos Club Campus Amsterdam Limited Edition by Ace Jewelers (Ref. 738.S1) is powered by the brand’s fully manufacture movement Nomos Caliber Alpha, which is also used in different models as well. 17 jewels hand-wound movement offers a power reserve of 43 hours when fully wound.
The new model comes with an anthracite colored velour leather strap. The strap is secured by a stainless steel standard buckle.
The Nomos Club Campus Amsterdam Limited Edition is a limited edition of 75 pieces, only available at Ace Jewelers boutiques and via www.AceJewelers.com with a MSRP of EUR 1,400.
